Goodman Friday & Saturday November 4-12 & 19, 2005 Back Door Theater 4319 SE Hawthorne, Portland, Oregon $10-$15, info : 503/230-2090 An abstract portrait of two lives, Domain honors the presence on earth and the contribution of two men who influenced the choreographer's early life. Their lives have now faded, but bits of memory have influenced Mr. Goodman's ideas about what it means to prosper (or not) in the U.S. as an African American male. In addition to Mr. Goodman, the piece also features performances by Joaquin Lopez and David Oury. This work is presented by Sowelu Ensemble and Creative Enterprise. |
