 CLASSES 
The camp is dance centered but not dance exclusive. Recommended ages for the camp are 8 to 16.
Older children, ages 12 to 16, are encouraged to learn the responsibility of being a camp counselor.Attendees are divided into three groups for specialization classes according to skill level and have five hour-long classes a day. Students are exposed to classes in hand percussion, modern dance, Afro-Caribbean dance and martial arts daily. They will also have an opportunity to explore Hip Hop dance, gymnastics for dancers and singing classes. The rest of the day they work in a large group being creative together. Participants are asked to use all of the arts that they have been exposed to during the week as inspiration for a dance-centered project of their own creation. |
